Cool power supplies?

Heya,..

Yeah quite right too .. can't have junior using a PC more powerful than his old man's rig now can we .. what would the world come to ? LOL .

I'm still thinking of the Gigabyte GA-MA790FXT-UD5P / Phen II X2 550 with some OCZ Gold AMD Edition 1600Mhz DDR3 .. just waiting for my bank manager to look the other way .. . Dunno if I'll be going Quad just yet, puts a lot more onto the total price and at present i really shouldn't be spending that much .. ah well, birthday / Xmas soon enough, might just put that money towards it all and maybe go for a quad if my birthday / xmas stash of cash is big enough .. otherwise the X2 550 looks like just the thing for what I do .. I could always put it in this rig at a later date and upgrade to a quad for the AM3 rig .. no biggy really.

Great news about the Corsairs... they are on sale at the Egg! 650w sounds great since I doubt I'll be going with a Xfire setup.

Heya,..

If you're dead sure about not going X-Fire then the TX650W should do just fine .. if you're not sure and might possibly go X-Fire in the future, then grab the TX750W ..
